How SLIPSTOP Works

The SLIPSTOP anti-slip treatment causes a chemical reaction with the floor, creating millions of microscopic "U" shaped pores, each sealed internally. The action of a foot on a treated surface displaces water/grease and the pores act like tiny suction cups preventing the foot from slipping.

To maintain the full effect of the treatment, it is important not to allow the buildup of deposits in the pores from cleaning products which leave a film on the floor, calcium in water or grease that has been allowed to dry on the surface. To avoid these problems, simply follow the Cleaning Guidelines, ensuring that your floor will remain slip-resistant in excess of the five year guarantee period.
